High Country Conservation Center is a non-profit organization dedicated to minimizing waste in Summit County and surrounding areas through reduction, reuse, recycling and education to create a more sustainable community.

Friends of the Eagle Nest Wilderness was formed to raise in-cash, in-kind, and in-service goods to help the Dillon Ranger District of the White River National Forest maintain the Summit county portions of the Eagles Nest and Ptarmigan Peak Wilderness areas.

Colorado Open Lands work to preserve the significant open lands and diminishing natural heritage of Colorado through public and private partnerships, innovative conservation and strategic leadership.

Volunteers for Outdoor Colorado works to enable and encourage citizen to become active stewards of Colorado's public lands. VOC hosts up to 25 conservation projects each year, builds future outdoor stewards through its Youth Conservations Initiative and manages Colorado's state-wide outdoor volunteer clearinghouse.
