Why did you choose to work at Arapahoe Basin?
I’m not going to lie, I originally wanted the pass, and ended up with an Amazing Basin relationship as well. I have made lasting friendships and unforgettable memories. Thanks Arapahoe Basin, I will see all of you again next season.
What did you enjoy most about your job?
From, “The Peak to the Beach” A-Basin is filled with happy customers and energetic employees. I loved sharing with families on their first A-Bay experience, bragging of their Best Day skiing or snowboarding ever. I feel like all of us, the staff, contributed to that experience.
Do you have any advice for future Arapahoe Basin employees?
A-Basin is for the professional ski and snowboard bums only. If you’re willing to work as hard as you play and smile every day, WELCOME HOME!
What is your favorite run at A-Basin?
1st notch down through East Wall and over The Land of Giants! My heart raced just thinking about it.

Why did you choose to work at Arapahoe Basin?
I originally chose A-Basin because I wanted to have a part time job at a friendly resort. I had previously worked for Vail Resorts and I wanted a change. A-Basin was a perfect opportunity for change. As soon as I was hired and started my first day I felt like I was part of something great. A-Basin has become a part of my heart and I will forever have amazing memories of my first season working at the Basin. I am honored to return for another fantastic winter.
What makes Arapahoe Basin so AMAZING?
The terrain is spectacular but I have to say the people who make the wheels go around are the real reason that the Basin is so AMAZING!
What did you enjoy most about your job?
I enjoyed making everyone smile with just a shot of espresso and a splash of LOVE!
Do you have any advice for future Arapahoe Basin employees?
A-Basin is a family and if you work hard your family will take care of you!
What is your favorite run at A-Basin?
If I had to choose, Powerline would be on top!

Why did you choose to work at Arapahoe Basin?
It has always been my dream to work at and enjoy the benefits of working at A-Basin. It was a stroke of luck that I applied and received an opportunity at the last minute to work for the Basin. Plus I did not have to cut my hair or shave my beard.
What did you enjoy most about your job?
All the amazing people I was able to work with. All my fellow employees made even the hardest tasks that much easier to handle. All the way from the top with Alan helping out when needed, to the support from fellow employees when a job was well done. I also really loved working the extra events held at the Basin, from the dinners hosted by Chef Rybak at the BML, to the events held in the A-frame.
Do you have any advice for future Arapahoe Basin employees?
Apply early and get ready for the best work experience you will ever have. Your hard work will be recognized and rewarded.
What is your favorite run at A-Basin?
The Exhibition Run, you get to rock a fun run and get cheers from all those on BXM. And anything back in the Montezuma Bowl, or when the East Wall is open. Well I guess pretty much the entire place rocks.

Why did you choose to work at Arapahoe Basin?
I love it! The snow, the people, and the mountain! It’s my favorite place to ride. I have ridden places at the mountain where I have never ridden before this season and it blew me away.
What did you enjoy most about your job?
Ride breaks and talking with customers about where they are from and how the snow is, even seeing employees every morning for their free breakfast.
Do you have any advice for future Arapahoe Basin employees?
Love the fact of being at the best mountain ever and enjoy meeting new people. Nothing brightens my day more than knowing I work at the coolest place with the best pass.
What is your favorite run at A-Basin?
The Beaver’s. I have never had an experience like it before, deep powder, fresh lines, and challenging trees. A-Mazing! And falcon through the trees below is always a kick!

Why did you choose to work at Arapahoe Basin?
It is one of my favorite mountains to ride and everyone here has a good attitude. Not to mention A-Basin treats their employees the best. It’s the mountain life at its best. It’s the legend.
What did you enjoy most about your job?
Definitely the people, both customers and co-workers are mostly just happy to be here. Good vibes and happy people.
Do you have any advice for future Arapahoe Basin employees?
Be grateful to be a part of this team. Don’t take your job here for granted. It doesn’t really get much better anywhere else.
What is your favorite run at A-Basin?
Any run, any time. Unless the East Wall is open, then it’s all about hiking for the best runs, there is always fun to be had somewhere.
